Hi, I am Poison Allen

I am visual storyteller and a natural light photographer. My heart and passion stem from a place of creativity but also bringing your vision to life. Photography is taking a moment and making it last forever. That is exactly what I want to do for you.

I grew up in a very poor neighborhood and my mother was a single mom raising 4 children on her own. It was a luxury to eat fast food let alone have family portraits done. The walls in my home were not covered in family pictures like most homes. We had 4x6 photo albums tossed in a grocery store bag to look through if we wanted to reminisce. When I became the age to really think about my future I decided that I did not want my children to grow up like that and worked hard to have a better future.

I have been a creative my whole life. Art is something I am passionate about but people is something I am even more passionate about. When I got into photography I decided that I wanted to use my business to help those who cannot afford a luxury service such as hiring a photographer. Though I offer higher end packages, I also offer more affordable packages for those who don't have the option to choose whether or not they will put food on the table or hang a picture on the wall.
